Sky is a young owlet with Autism. Along with his mom, Neblina, they are invited for the first time to a birthday celebration. Sky is super excited about making friends at the party; however, the loud noises and balloon popping become a challenging experience for Sky. This is until he taps into his special ability and becomes "Sky the Super-Hero" that leads to a heartfelt ending.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Renata Edith Pérez Zamudio (Reni) was diagnosed with Autism at the age of six and has suffered from epilepsy and developmental delays. Reni is currently studying a career in educational assistance. She has worked in the care of children with Autism and has carried out activities to help them with their integration and behavior.

Reni has given talks to dentists at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes to offer strategies and help dentists who have patients with autism. Reni gives talks to guide teachers to work with students with autism.

Reni is a person who perceives, dreams, loves, and learns in a different way. She does not seek to change her community but rather to give them the tools to learn to live with and love people with autism. She enjoys writing stories based on personal experiences to create inclusion and awareness amongst society.

In this book, Reni reflects one of her own experiences thru Sky, our character that represents Autism in the magical world of Bright Buddies.
